 We all remember the days when we were kids and used to share a candy bar with our best pal. Well, it was out of this type of friendship that the Pal-o-Mine bar was born. Way back in 1920, an old candy maker made a candy bar for two pals to share while on a fishing trip. What he came up with is like no other bar! A centre of yellow fudge and coconut covered with Ganong’s premium imported chocolate and peanuts. When the bar was developed, it was seen as a short-term offering, sold just long enough to pay for the cost of development. At the time, it wasn’t planned to be offered long enough to even warrant a printed package, and was offered simply in clear cellophane. Little did Ganong know at the time that the Pal-o-Mine would still be bringing friends together more than 90 years later!
